"No matter how long you've been in leadership, you're still going to have blind spots and pockets of denial. Building Empathy helped me identify, understand, and most importantly, do something about personal biases that may limit my effectiveness. I recommend it to anyone, even those who've been in leadership for a long time."

As a participant in the empathy-building program, I can confidently say it's been a learning experience. The program's approach to cultural differences and diversity not only educates but also teaches genuine understanding and connection.
Through discussions and interactive activities, the program navigates the difficulties of empathy, empowering us to embrace diversity with open hearts and minds.
This program is a light of hope in an increasingly divided world. By nurturing empathy and understanding, it equips us to build bridges across cultural divides which helps to embrace the beauty of diversity. I highly recommend it to anyone seeking to enhance their empathy skills and cultivate meaningful connections in today's multicultural society."

"The empathy course was very engaging and informative. Everyone on the team had an enjoyable experience and felt that it was impactful. The key takeaways were the specific tips on how to be an active listener as well as the descriptions of how emotional theory has developed over time. Everyone appreciated that the video gave a detailed walk-through of what active listening looks like and how to improve those skills. The development of emotional theories was interesting because everyone has a different opinion on which theory they thought was 'right,' and why they believed so. This opened the door for a very interesting and eye-opening conversation. It allowed us to learn more about one another and the discussion helped us become closer as a team."

"As co-artistic director and administrator of a non-profit arts organization, I have found that fostering an inclusive and empathetic environment is essential for our success. Magnify Education's "Building Empathy" program has been instrumental in enhancing my awareness of intrinsic biases, sharpening high-level listening skills, and deepening my respect for diverse cultural perspectives. Through this program, I have learned to regulate emotional reactions and create a more inclusive atmosphere for both our team and the communities we serve. The insights and practical strategies provided have been invaluable, leading to more effective communication, stronger relationships, and a richer, more diverse artistic expression within our organization. I highly recommend "Building Empathy" to any leader seeking to cultivate a more empathetic and culturally responsive environment in their organization."

I have been in law enforcement over 25 years. I’ve taken a number of training that deal with empathy. However, they tend to present information in a “don’t think like this” and “don’t do that” approach. The Building Empathy program on the other hand covers the science as to why we think a certain way, and teaches ways to help us become aware of these thought processes, as well as change our approach to become even more empathetic. I found this approach refreshing and the information actually helps me be a better officer.
